Moving a single recording/folder in Panopto

Moving a single recording into a different Panopto folder

  1. Select Panopto Video in your Canvas navigation menu.
  2. Hover over the video you'd like to move and select the Settings button (See Fig. 1).

  3. Select Edit after the name of the current folder (See Fig. 2).

  4. Choose the desired folder from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see your folder, type the name of the folder you are looking for and select it when it appears (See Fig. 3).

  5. Select Save (See Fig. 4).

  6. Select the X to close the Settings window (See Fig. 5).

  7. The video is now moved into a new folder.

Moving a single Panopto folder

Note: Be sure to check the folder's access permissions if you are moving a folder out of My Folder in Panopto.

  1. Select Panopto Video in your Canvas navigation menu.
  2. Select the Settings icon to access folder settings (See Fig. 6).

  3. Select Edit next to the Parent Folder heading (See Fig. 7).

  4. Choose the desired folder from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see your folder, just type the name of the folder you are looking for and select it when it appears (see Fig. 8).

  5. Select Save (See Fig. 9).

  6. Select the X to close (See Fig. 10).

  7. The folder is now moved.
