Embedding a Panopto folder in more than one of your Canvas courses
Embedding a Panopto folder in more than one of your Canvas courses

Select
Panopto Video
in your Canvas course navigation menu.
Select the folder you want share to open it (See Fig. 1).

Share
(See Fig. 3).

Change
under Who can access this folder to open permission selections (See Fig. 4).

Select Your Organization (unlisted) (See Fig. 5). If your folder was inheriting permissions from the parent folder, that box will uncheck when you change the permission settings.

Save

Embed
, update the options as desired, and
Copy Embed Code
to copy the embed code (See Fig. 7).

Close the page by clicking the
X
in the upper-right corner of the window.
Open the other Canvas course site where you want to embed the recording.
Select
Modules
(See Fig. 8).

Select the
+ sign
to add a new item to the module (See Fig. 9).

Select
Page
from the drop-down menu (See Fig. 10).
Select
New Page
from the list of options (See Fig. 10).
Give the new page a name and then select
Add Item
(See Fig. 10).

Select the
title
of the new page to open the item.

Edit

to access the HTML Editor (See Fig. 12).

Paste in the
Embed code
.
Select the
</> icon
again to return to the Rich Content Editor and the contents will populate the page (See Fig. 13).

Select
Save and Publish
. The contents are now available in the second Canvas course (See Fig. 14).

To confirm that the students can view the videos, use the
Student View.
