Attaching a rubric to a classic Turnitin assignment through turnitin.com

This article describes how to add a rubric that exists in Turnitin while grading classic Feedback Studio (LTI 1.3) assignments through turnitin.com. For more information about creating a rubric in Turnitin Feedback Studio (LTI 1.3) new standard assignments within Canvas, please visit Creating a rubric or grading form. Canvas Plagiarism Framework assignments are set up to work with rubrics built in Canvas.

  1. Log into turnitin.com and select your course.
  2. Select your assignment.
  3. From the Submissions Inbox, select any submitted paper.
  4. Select the rubric icon on the right-hand navigation (see Fig. 1).

  5. If there is no rubric in place, you will see this box ( See Fig. 2).

  6. Select the gear icon in the upper-right to attach a rubric from your list (see Fig. 3).

  7. Set Attach to Assignment to On (see Fig. 4).

  8. The rubric you’ve chosen will now be available for all papers submitted for that assignment.
