Renaming a Canvas course using the CRS

⚠️Note: The Canvas Request System (CRS) cannot be used by graduate students even if they have a teaching appointment. Contact Academic Technology for assistance with CRS tasks.
⚠️Note: This process is for Canvas course sites that you have requested through the CRS. Follow these instructions to rename a course combo.

1. Go to the Canvas Request System and log in.
2. Select the New Course History tab to view your courses (See Fig. 1).

3. Select Edit (See Fig. 1).
4. Enter the modified course name and select Submit (See Fig. 2). Note that you can also check the box to hide the prefix of the name in Canvas (See Fig. 2).

5. Once submitted, the changes will be reflected in Canvas within 10 hours.
