Note: Recordings that are automatically transferred from Zoom to Panopto may not be able to access some Zoom AI Companion features.

Zoom AI Companion features accessible if your recording has been moved to Panopto:

  • Meeting Summaries are stored separately and will remain accessible in Zoom

Zoom AI Smart Recordings Features that are not accessible in Panopto:

  • Recording Highlights
  • Smart Chapters
  • Meeting Coaching

If you would like to review any of these Smart Recording features after your recording has been moved to Panopto, you will need to recover the recording from the Zoom Trash within 30 days of its deletion.

To recover the Recordings from Zoom

  1. Log in to umsystem.zoom.us
  2. Select Recordings & Transcripts from the navigation menu on the left (See Fig. 1).
