Purpose:
This article provides guidance regarding the removal of Union titles from the All-Hours-Worked Critical Staffing Plan documents effective July 5, 2026.
As part of this change, the applicable Critical Staffing Plan premium values were moved into the base wages of impacted incumbent employees effective July 5, 2026. This approach is specific to the impacted Union titles and reflects decisions made during wage openers with the Union in fall 2025.
Effective Date:
The removal of impacted Union titles from the All-Hours-Worked Critical Staffing Plan documents is effective July 5, 2026.
The increase to impacted employee's base wage is effective July 5, 2026.
The increase letters will be sent to leaders on July 10, 2026.

What is changing on July 5, 2026?
Effective July 5, 2026, the impacted Union titles were removed from the posted All-Hours-Worked Critical Staffing Plan documents.
For impacted active incumbent employees, the applicable premium value was permanently added to the employee’s base wage in PeopleSoft effective July 5, 2026.
This change only impacted active employees in the affected Union titles as of the July 5, 2026 effective date.
