Question

How do I uninstall packages from a project in RStudio?

 

Answer

Note: It is recommended that library paths and packages be located within the user's profile. How-To: Rstudio: List Library Paths

1. Load the desired project to uninstall packages.

2. Ensure the "Packages" tab is selected in the bottom right pane.

3. Uninstall chosen package.

a. From a listed library, choose the package to uninstall.

b. Select the circled x to the far right of the chosen package.

4. Confirmation popup window is displayed listing package to remove, select "Yes".
