Note: Students need to use the newest version of LockDown Browser in order to have the fix for flagging Avast or AVG software as a blocked application.
Students will need to download and install Respondus LockDown Browser software on their personal computer before attempting an exam.

Preparing students to use Respondus LockDown Browser
- The download link to share with your students is available here.
- Share the link only with your students. They will be able to download and install LockDown Browser software to their personal computer. They will also need additional information if they are using a Chromebook.
- Students can also use an iPad to install the LDB app and take quizzes. Share this guide with them.
- When an instructor requires LockDown Browser for tests in Canvas, students will only be able to access the test with this browser.
