New Quizzes will undergo maintenance on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 5:02 AM to 8:02 AM.
Actual downtime for New Quizzes is expected to last up to 10 minutes during the event, but the full duration of the window is needed for database validation. All other functions of Canvas are expected to remain operational.
If you are unsure if you are using New Quizzes or Classic Quizzes, Classic Quizzes have a hollow rocket icon while New Quizzes have a filled-in green rocket icon (See Fig. 1).
