Terminations & Separations

When an employee has resigned, is being terminated, or otherwise is separating from their employment or appointment with MU Health Care, it is essential to ensure the change is appropriately documented in their employee file and that their record is updated in PeopleSoft HR. The Employee Separation Toolkit is available and includes resources to guide leaders through this process. This includes:

  • Separate checklists for leadership and employees to ensure all the appropriate steps are followed and documented
  • Termination & resignation letter templates
  • Knowledge transition resources
  • Instructions for submitting ePAF's in PeopleSoft HR
