How do I change Resource Account Sponsor?

Answer

If you are a current sponsor you may update the sponsorship of the account by visiting https://accounts.umsystem.edu

  1. Login with your username@umsystem.edu
  2. Select Manage Sponsored Accounts
  3. Select Edit next to the account you'd like to edit
  4. Update Sponsor or Owner through the interface.
    1. Accounts may have 2 sponsors

If your account is managed by your IT pro team, please create a ticket for them with your update request.

If you are not a current sponsor and would like to update the sponsor of the account, a current owner or sponsor may need to be contacted for approval. You may open a ticket with the help desk by calling 573-882-5000, through the TDX portal or you may send the request to accounts@missouri.edu. For e-mails, the request should come from an account sponsor or an account sponsor should be carbon copied in the request.
