How-To: Software Center: Install Software for Windows

Note: Computer must be connected to the campus networks to install software.

Loction of Windows and S keys on U.S. English keyboard for Windows

1. Open Windows Search by pressing Windows + S keys simultaneously.  

 

 

 

Type the text "Software Center" in the Windows Search box

2. In the Search box, type Software Center.

3. Click on Software Center App icon to launch Software Center.

4. Select Applications in left-hand column of Software Center to view available self-service installations.

5. Search for available Applications by typing the name, title, or keywords in the Search box located in the upper-right-hand corner of Applications tab.**

6. Click on the icon of the application for Application Details.

7. Click on the Install button to begin installation.

 

 

 

 

8. When the installation is complete, you may close Software Center.
