How-To Software Center Uninstall/Remove Self-Service Software for Windows

Note: Computer must be connected to the campus network to uninstall some software titles.

Location of Windows and S keys on U.S. English keyboard for Windows

1. Open Windows Search by pressing Windows + S keys simultaneously.

 

 

 

Type the text Software Center in the Windows Search box width.

2. In the Search box, type Software Center.

3. Click on Software Center App icon to launch Software Center.

4. Select Installation Status in left-hand column of Software Center to view installed applications.

5. Search for installed applications by typing the name, title, or keywords in the Search box located in the upper-right-hand corner of Installation Status tab.**

6. Click on the icon of the application for Application Details.

7. Click on the Uninstall button to begin removal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

**If the title is not listed in the Installation Status tab search results: 

  •      It may not be installed on the system. 
  •      It may have been manually installed and cannot be uninstalled in Software Center.
  •      You may need to submit a support request to your IT Pro.
