Question
How do I assign myself as the responsible person on a TDX ticket.
Answer
To begin, access TDNext.
Utilize one of the available dashboards or the TDNext search feature to locate the ticket you wish to reassign.
Once you have found the ticket, open it.
In the ticket view, you will notice multiple tabs at the top. Under the General tab, there is an Actions Menu. Choose either “Take Incident” or “Take Service Request” to designate yourself as the primary owner of the ticket.

A pop up window will appear asking, Are you sure you want to take primary responsibility for the ticket?, Select the OK button to confirm you would like to assign yourself as the primary responsible person for the ticket.
The ticket has been assigned to you. You may proceed with updating, editing, or adding comments to the ticket, or you can close the ticket window once you have completed your changes.
