Connect an iOS Device to TigerWiFi

Question

How do I connect an iOS Device to TigerWiFi?

Answer

Follow these steps to connect an iOS device to TigerWifi;

1. Tap Settings.

2. Tap Wi-Fi

3. Slide the button to turn WiFi on.

4. Tap TigerWiFi.

5. Enter your Username and Password.

6. Tap Join.

7. Tap Trust on the certificate screen.

NoteIf you get disconnected from TigerWiFi shortly after connecting, your device's Private Wi-Fi Address setting may be causing the issue. To resolve this, follow the steps below based on your iOS version.

iOS 18 or later:

1. Open the Settings app, then tap Wi-Fi.

2. Tap the name of the network, or tap the information (i) button next to it if you are not currently connected.

3. Tap Private Wi-Fi Address.

4. Select Fixed or Off. Using Fixed is recommended, as it keeps your device's address stable for the network while maintaining some privacy.

5. Tap Rejoin if prompted.

iOS 17 and earlier:

1. Open the Settings app, then tap Wi-Fi.

2. Tap the information (i) button next to the network name.

3. Tap Private Address to turn it off.

4. Tap Rejoin if prompted.
