Connect Windows to TigerWiFi

Question

How do I connect my Windows computer to TigerWiFi?

Answer

Follow these instructions to connect your Windows computer to TigerWifi;

1. Click the Wireless Quick Launch icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen (may appear as a wireless signal or globe icon, depending on your current connection status).

2. Find TigerWiFi in the list of nearby networks.

3. Click TigerWiFi.

4. Click Connect. This opens the Network & Internet window.

5. Enter your username (this will be your SSO a.k.a. PawPrint) and password.

Note: If you experience any issues, enter your domain with your username:
- UM Healthcare/ UM Hospital employees: umhs-users\username

- Campus users: UM-AD\username

6. Click OK.

7. You will be prompted to continue connecting, click Connect.

Note: If your computer does not connect, verify that your password was entered correctly and try again. If you are prompted to set a new password, this means your account password is likely expired and needs to be reset via https://password.umsystem.edu/. Do NOT attempt to reset your password through the Windows prompt- it will not work.
