Catalog Info
⚠️Note: Do not make any changes to this setting page.
User Defined Fields
User Defined Fields allow you to collect information from your learners during the enrollment phase. If they enroll in other courses in the future, they will see the previous data they have shared and have the option to update/change at any time during enrollment for any course. For more information, please read How do I view and manage user defined fields for my catalogs?
You can find the collected information in Analytics by viewing the Enrollments.
Parchment Digital Badge
If you have an existing Parchment Digital Badge set up, it can be displayed in your Catalog storefront. Contact at@umsystem.edu for more information.
Customizations
You can create and customize the email messages that get sent out to users when they interact with your Catalog storefront. For more information about the different types of customization email templates, please read How do I create custom email templates for a catalog or subcatalog?
⚠️Note: The Registration Email does not apply to our Catalog instance.
CC and BCC setting
Each of the customizable email settings allows a CC and BCC to be set up. Any email address placed in either of these fields will receive a CC, or BCC, of all emails they are listed on.
⚠️Note: Any email address listed in the CC field is visible to the student. Any email address listed in the BCC field is hidden from the student and any other recipients. When adding email addresses to these fields, please only put UM System contacts that you/your unit has access to and are authorized to receive student information. Do not put external/non-UM System email addresses in these fields.
Customization emails
- Use a tag-style input where typing an email address and pressing enter adds it as a pill.
- Allow up to 10 CC addresses and up to 10 BCC addresses per template.
- When sending a Test Email to yourself, it ignores the CC and BCC emails.
Parent catalog CC and BCC email addresses are inherited by the child subcatalog. If you do not want this to happen, you can remove the CC and BCC emails inherited from the parent catalog when you create a new customization email for the child subcatalog.
Impact
⚠️Note: Please do not make any changes on this page. Impact allows site messaging to display on Catalog sites. Contact at@umsystem.edu for any questions.
Purchase Order
This allows a user to checkout using a purchase order. By default, this setting would say Inherit Parent Setting (disabled). If you want this enabled for your Catalog site, select Yes from the dropdown menu.
By default, it would inherit the Institution details and it will be blank. To set up your own, you must disable the toggle for Inherit institution details from parent catalog. This will allow you to input information in the seller details.
