WiFi

Wireless access is provided by UMKC to allow for seamless connectivity for users across our entire campus. Use of the wireless network requires logon using your UMKC Username, and is subject to the terms listed in the UMKC Wireless Policy.

All UMKC Faculty, Staff, and Students.  Registered guests, registered volunteers, and courtesy appointments.

• Anyone with a UMKC account should follow the UMKCWPA connection instructions for connecting computers, tablets, and smart phones.
• Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions using the EDUROAM connection instructions.
• Older gaming consoles, smart TVs, and devices that do not support WPA2-E security need to be registered using the UMKC-Media instructions.

• Wireless coverage maps are available for the Volker Campus and Hospital Hill Campus. 
• Students in the UMKC Residence Halls (ResNet) need to register with SafeConnect after connecting to the UMKCWPA WiFi network.
• Faculty and Staff can login to obtain a temporary guest wireless password for visitors.
