This service provides the intake and review process for new development work within HR Hub. It ensures that all required business, technical, and design information is collected upfront so our development team can accurately scope, estimate, and prioritize the work.
Typical requests include:
- Building a new application or web tool
- Enhancing an existing system
- Creating dashboards, reports, or data integrations
- Automating manual workflows
- Adding new features to existing platforms

Primary audience: Department managers, project leads, product owners, and designated request submitters who have identified a business or operational need requiring IT/development support.

Others: Staff members may submit requests if approved by their supervisor or designated project sponsor.
When to Submit This Request
Submit this request before work begins when:
- You need a new tool, application, dashboard, or workflow automation
- You require changes or enhancements to an existing system
- You need data integration between systems
- You want to add reporting or analytics capabilities
- You have a compliance, security, or regulatory requirement that requires system changes
Do not submit this request for:
- Routine account/password resets (see IT Support service)
- General software troubleshooting (see Technical Support service)
- Data extracts or simple report runs (see Data Request service)
- Standardized intake form to gather all necessary requirements
- Review and scoping by development team
- Feedback and recommendations on feasibility, effort, and timeline
