Kudos is MU Health Care’s employee recognition and engagement platform, designed to celebrate colleagues and highlight the positive impact they make on our culture, our teams, and our community.
Technical Support – HR Information Systems (HRIS) Team
Technical support MUHC HRIS provides include:
- Login Support
- Examples: Identifying inactive or missing accounts, assisting with SSO errors
- Request for report information
- Points Received, Redeemed, or Given
- Assistance with Kudos Point Allocation to Leaders
- Leader Point Eligibility:
- MUHC Leaders: Based on Manager Level designation in job code
- SOM Leaders: Based on having direct reports (reports_to = leader’s position number)
- General Kudos questions
- Request for addition of Administrator (SOM HR and MUHC HR staff only *Subject to approval)
- Resolving account and points-related issues.
- Reports of other issues or platform errors may require require Advanced Technical Support from the Kudos (Vendor) Team

Advanced Technical Support – Kudos (Vendor) Team
The Kudos (Vendor) Team is responsible for Platform functionality and technical troubleshooting.
- Examples:
- Issues with web vs. mobile access
- Supported browsers
- System Notifications not received (E.g. Redemption's, Kudos awards, etc.)
- How to use platform features
- Important:
- Vendor cannot activate accounts or redeem points
- If unsure, submit your issue to AskHR; we’ll escalate to Kudos if needed.
