BERT Certification – Registering for a Class Past Due Date

If an employee receives a message that their registration is not within the Target Date, it means the system is attempting to enroll them in a class scheduled before their certification due date. If no class slots are available, the employee will encounter an error message. 

To bypass this error: 

• Do NOT click the REGISTER button when enrolling. This button automatically schedules the next available class within your deadline, but since there are no open classes, it cannot proceed. 
• Instead, click on the Workplace Violence Prevention Certification hyperlink (see image below). This will take you to a new screen where a VIEW CLASSES button will appear, allowing you to register for an upcoming class that suits your schedule. 

Steps: 

1. Locate BERT Certification and click the hyperlink. 
2. On the Certification Detail screen, do not click Register. 
   • Important: Do NOT click Register as it will automatically enroll you in the next available WVP High Instructor-Led Training (ILT). 
3. A list of available classes will appear. Click Enroll for your preferred class.
