BERT Certification – Removal Request

The BERT Certification is a global education requirement based on an employee's job role and HR DEPT ID, and it cannot be removed by the education department. The only exception is for employees moving into or out of a Charge RN role, as there is no designated job code for Charge RN. These requests must be manually processed. Leaders of Charge RNs are responsible for requesting the addition or removal of BERT certification from an employee’s SABA account. Requests submitted by individuals below the leader level will be rejected and must be resubmitted by the employee's leader.

Non-completion of required education is at the discretion of leadership.
