GROW in the HR Hub - Employee Support

MU Health Care has moved the GROW performance management touchpoint to the HR Hub (access instructions HERE) for easier access and navigation. Please read through the following information to help you navigate through the new system for your GROW self-assessment.  

 

GROW is split into two different pieces you will need to complete: Goal Setting and the GROW Self-Assessment.  

Goal Setting 

When you log into the HR Hub you will find a tile titled “Goal Setting” which is where you will create and track your goals. The new tile uses AI to help you create goals based on your job description. Your goals should contain action items that allow you to indicate progress toward completion. The dashboard will display your progress and remind you of upcoming deadlines. 

 

New Features:  

  • AI assistance in creating goals 

  • Collaborative Goal tracking which allows you to include teammates across the organization to better represent your work 

  • New display allows you to visualize your goals and easily indicate completed action items 

  • Goals are always visible and able to be updated at any time throughout the year 

 

Instructions: 

  • Log into the HR Hub HERE 

  • Click the “Goal Setting” tile on the homepage 

  • Click “Add Goal” in the upper right portion of the screen to start a new goal 

  • Complete the various sections (required sections indicated by *) and click “Save Goal” 

  • Create at least one goal for the April-July GROW cycle. Use the Goal Setting tile at any time to keep track of goal progress or add new goals as you identify new opportunities 

GROW Self-Assessment

GROW is a performance conversation between employees and their leader designed to highlight the strengths of the employee and their contributions to the organization. It is an opportunity to give and receive feedback and work with your leader to identify potential growth or focus areas for the upcoming months. 

Your job as an employee is to come to your GROW conversation prepared to discuss your completed GROW form and your goals that are documented in the Goal Setting tile.  

 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Log into the HR Hub HERE 

  • Search the left sidebar until you see “GROW” in the Performance section near the bottom of the list.  

  • Click on the “GROW” option and it will open your performance dashboard 

  • The “My Performance Dashboard” option will display the various steps you and/or your leader need to complete to finish the GROW cycle 

  • Below that, you will see a ribbon across the screen with options for you to read your job description, see a Career Development Roadmap and start your GROW form 

  • Click on “GROW Session” to pull up your GROW form 

  • Complete the self-assessment questions 

  • Click “Submit” near the top of the form when you have entered all your information 

  • Once you discuss the form with your leader you will come back to the form to sign off after your leader completes their notes and signs off
