How do I change my direct deposit? / How Long before I can close the bank account?

Employees can manage their Direct Deposit information through the Payroll Employee Self Service page.

Update a Direct Deposit Account

  1. Log into myhr.umsystem.edu and click the My Payroll tile on the myHR Homepage.
  2. The Employee Payroll Self Service page opens
    1. Click Direct Deposit in the left menu,
    2. Direct Deposit accounts are listed on the screen.
    3. Click the row of the account you wish to update. Note: If there is only one account on-file, it can only be updated, not deleted.

2. The Edit Account dialog window opens for the selected account.

  1. The following fields can be edited directly:
    1. Account Type
    2. Routing Number
    3. Nickname
  2. To edit the Account Number, click the Edit Account Number button (Pencil icon). The Account Number and Retype Account Number fields will become editable so that you can enter the new account number.
  3. When you are finished, click the Save button.
