How to Edit PDF Form Fields

  1. Using the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar

 

  1. Select “Prepare a form”

 

 

  1. When you’re in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file.
    1. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields. You can also choose different fonts.
    2. Drop downs:
      1. Select drop down you wish to edit by double clicking
      2. Select “Options” to add drop down options.
      3. Do not copy and paste drop down or select boxes – if you do that, the box will generate the same response to each box copies. You must create a new drop-down box or check box for each line item.
      4. Each text box can be made to have its own font and character limits. These options can be selected in the options and appearance tabs once selected.

 

  1. Once you’ve made the necessary edits, you can save the file as a PDF.
