How do I manage call forwarding for a Cisco VoIP phone?
Answer
Using the Forward All Button on the Phone
- Press the Forward All button on the phone (Usually the softkey on the right, when not on a call).
- When the phone is asking for a number to forward to, press the Voicemail button on the phone.
Using the Website
If calls need to go to another number (call forwarding) or if callers do not go to the voicemail, check the Call Forwarding settings.
- Go to https://uc.missouri.edu
- Note: If you are not on campus, you must establish a VPN connection to use the link in step 2 below.
- Click Telephone Self-Care.
- Log in with your university username and password.
- Click on the Phones tab.
- Click Call Forwarding.
- Enable or disable call forwarding:
To disable:
- Uncheck Forward all calls to: for the phone number.
- Click Advanced calling rules.
- The entries below Advanced calling rules should be checked.
- The entries below Advanced calling rules should forward to Voicemail.
To enable:
- Check Forward all calls to: for the phone number.
- Choose a phone number or type the phone number.
- Click Save.
- Click your username at the top-right of the page.
- Click Sign Out.
