FAQ’s:
Q. I submitted my photo, and it was approved. When will I receive my card?
A. Please come to the ID Office to have your card printed.
Q. Did my photo get accepted?
A. In idcardmanager.missouri.edu, click VIEW MY PHOTOS to follow the photo’s progression from Pending to Current.
Q. What does Pending mean in View My Photos?
A. Pending means your ID Document did not upload properly, or the photo has not been reviewed. You should allow two business days for your photo to be accepted or denied. On the “submit ID photo” page, you should see your photo. If you don’t see it, we don’t see it. Try uploading it, again.
Q. My View my Photos page shows the reasons photos were rejected. What do they mean?
A. Photo Rejection Reasons:
- Low quality.
- Inappropriate - using a filter, or hand gestures, etc.
- Too bright, dark, distant or close.
- Not centered – our software only adjusts to square.
- Wearing a hat or sunglasses.
- Not a self portrait.
- More than one person.
- Inconsistent names – complete the MizzouOne task in “Prerequisites section”, above.
- Not facing the camera.
- Background – face is not easily distinguished from background.
- ID submitted as photo – an ID Document was submitted in the “submit a photo” function. This can be checked in “view my photos”, where all the photos should be pictures of you. . . not your ID Document.
Q. I met my prerequisite. Why am I still getting an error when I try to log in to idcardmanager.missouri.edu to submit my photo?
A. Usually this means the prerequisite hasn’t been fully met. Speak with the person handling your Personnel Action Form, to assure everything is in order.
Q. I want a name other than my legal name on my ID card (e.g., “Tommy” rather than “Thomas”).
A. Contact your HR representative for instruction. Once your Preferred Name has been added to your employee record, be sure to call the ID Office at (573)882-1871 to make sure your Preferred Name is in the ID System before coming to our office. We cannot add it manually.
Q. I get “Login Failed” error when I try to log in at idcardmanager.missouri.edu. What does this mean?
A. Typically, employee records reach the ID System at 8:30 a.m., up to 48 hours AFTER the employee has completed their New Employee Orientation, or Non-Employee paperwork. It’s always best to call the ID OFFICE to be sure we have your information, before coming for an ID. We do not add records manually. Contact your HR representative, for instruction, and to be sure that nothing further is needed from you
