​Globus is a high-performance data-transfer platform, developed and operated as a not-for-profit service by the University of Chicago.

You can use Globus for...

  • Sharing data with researchers at other institutions.
  • Data transfers between RDE and your laptop or workstation.
  • Sharing files with the world.
  • Automate data transfers between any of the above.
  • RSS consultations for additional data transfer options.

Transfers happen unattended, data verification is on by default, and on-the-wire encryption is available.

Access you can control with email invitations.
