*Honorlock Fees
Honorlock’s cost to the University is based on licensing per user within an academic year. For each academic year, one user equals one license. Due to the cost to the University, Honorlock is intended for online courses that do not meet face-to-face.
Unsupported Options
Instructors may be offered other proctoring options by textbook publishers (e.g., McGraw Hill’s integration with Proctorio).
- These are not supported by the University. Academic Technology and DoIT may not provide any level of support for instructors and students.
- Publisher integrated testing may require student-paid fees, which the instructor is required to track and report to the Bookstores. Federal regulations require the total cost of each course to be reported.
- Instructors will need to also ensure that their course is flagged in the Student Information System (MyZou, My Pathways, My Gateway, JoeSS) as requiring additional fees for proctoring.
- Instructors will need to add a statement regarding the proctoring method and fees in their syllabus.
- Additional policies may apply on each campus.
