GROW & Rounding in the HR Hub - Leader Support

GROW and Rounding will now take place in the HR Hub. Please use this article to find resources, instructions and templates to help leaders smoothly navigate the new process.

GROW and Rounding are now conducted in the HR Hub (access instructions HERE) and should provide you with an easier pathway to document meaningful conversations with your employees.  

 

CHANGES: 

GROW: 

  • Leaders can now set the deadline for their team to complete the self-assessment portion.

  • No longer a static four-week employee portion and then a six-week leader portion 

  • See template HERE if you need help communicating with your teams 

  • Goals are now completed in the HR Hub in the “Goal Setting” tile 

  • Goals can be completed before the self-assessment and updated continuously 

  • Goals are now collaborative. Employees can add teammates who are assisting on projects and those people can update goals to reflect progress 

  • HR Hub is NOT mobile friendly. Please be aware that you will not be able to conduct GROW or Rounding conversation notes through the HR Hub on your phone 

 

Rounding: 

  • Rounding will also now take place in the HR Hub 

  • This means you should be able to easily conduct Rounding check-ins and GROW touchpoints in the same month 

  

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Log into the HR Hub HERE 

  • For Rounding, navigate to the “Performance” section in the left sidebar 

  • Click on Rounding (access instructions HERE

  • Select the employee you wish to conduct Rounding 

  • Fill in the boxes associated with each question 

  • Once all questions are completed click “Complete Session” at the bottom of the page 

  • For GROW, navigate to the “Performance” section in the left sidebar 

  • Utilize the pre-conversation checklist HERE 

  • Utilize the GROW conversation scripting HERE if necessary 

  • Select the employee  

  • Review submitted goals 

  • Review job description 

  • Discuss GROW self-assessment and areas of celebration and concern 

  • Thank the employee for the conversation 

  • Complete notes in the appropriate places (Remember: any note submitted will be public) 

  • Sign off on the form and alert employee that the form is now available for them to sign off 

  • If you have any employees assigned to you who do not report to you, please submit an ePAF. Instructions HERE 

 

By moving GROW and Rounding to the HR Hub you should experience a more intuitive system ready for your documentation.
