What Is It?
MOVEit Transfer is part of a Managed File Transfer (MFT) system used to securely exchange files between the University of Missouri System and vendors.
- MOVEit Transfer DMZ: SFTP/SSH clients can upload and download files to MOVEit Transfer DMZ from internal and external sources. MOVEit Transfer DMZ allows vendors to pick up or drop of files without directly accessing internal systems.

- Can I exchange files with Data Classification Level 3 and 4 (DCL3 and DCL4) data using this service?
MOVEit Transfer DMZ allows DCL3 data transfers. DCL4 data transfers will require evaluation and approval.
Files will be retained for a maxumum of 15 days before deletion.
This service should only be used for university business. Users are required to comply with all applicable policies, including but not limited to the University’s Acceptable Use Policy and Information Security Program.
