How do I install and connect my university account to the Microsoft Authenticator app?

Installing Microsoft Authenticator App:

1. Click one of the links above or search your app store for Microsoft Authenticator. Select the Get or Install button depending on the app store.
2. Select Open when it has finished installing.
    

Connecting your University Account to the Authenticator App

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
2. Select the Plus button located at the top of your phone screen.
3. Select Work or school account.
4. Select Sign in.
5. Enter your university username@umsystem.edu email account and select Next.
6. Enter your password and select Sign In.
7. Select either Text or Call to authenticate. Follow the prompts to finish authenticating.
8. Select Continue.
9. The Microsoft Authenticator app will prompt for user verification using biometrics (face or fingerprint) or PIN.
10. The account has been added. If you do not wish to add any other authentication methods to your account on the app, select Done.
