Informational: Advanced Transfer Between Collections using Transfer and Timer Options.
Information
Several options are available to extend the default configuration.
- The transfer can be labeled.
- Several transfer settings can be enabled.
- Notification settings can be disabled.
- A transfer date and time can be set if you don’t wish to do it immediately.
- The transfer can be configured to repeat on a minute, hourly, or daily basis.
Configuration options can be configured between steps 5 and 6 of the article, How To: Globus Quick Guide to Transfer Between Collections via web Browser, by clicking on Transfer & Timer Options. [a.]
Label This Transfer [b.] Allows a user provided label or description of the transfer.
Clicking on the Information Icon [d.] of individual Transfer Settings displays a description of that option. [e.] Transfer
settings are enabled by checking the box to the left of it. [c.]
Single-occurrence transfers can be scheduled to run at a specified time and date using the Scheduled Start
settings. [f.]
Recurring transfers can be configured by combining the Schedule Start and Repeat [g.] settings dropdown.
