How To: Globus Quick Guide to Transfer Between Collections via web Browser

Question

How do I quickly transfer between collections in Globus using a web browser?

1. In File Manager window, click on Transfer or Sync to... on right side.

2. A second Collection Search box and file list pane will be displayed on right side. Click on Search in left Collection Search box.

3. The File Manager - Collection Search window is displayed. Select collection you wish to transfer from.

4. The File Manager window with selected collection in left pane is displayed.  Select Search in right pane Collection Search box.

5. The File Manager - Collection Search window is displayed. Select collection you wish to transfer to.

6. The File Manager window with selected collection in right pane is displayed.  Select files to transfer in left file list pane.

7. The File Manager window with selected files in left pane are checked and highlighted. Click on Start in left pane to start transfer.

8. Transfer request submitted successfully pop-up window is displayed. Click on X to close pop-up window.

9. Click on Refresh List symbol in toolbar of right file list pane. You will also receive an email regarding the transfer.

10. Transferred files are listed in right file list pane.
