Unable to access employee resources shortly after hiring

As a new hire, how do I access employee-only systems or services?

Answer

If you were recently hired and are unable to access various employee-only systems or services (for example, the Employee setting in the Cisco VPN), it may be the case that your Employee Information is not yet fully processed. Access to many employee resources is determined by the employment status listed in your Employee Information, and it is common for the time it takes to fully process this info to extend past your actual start date.
