How to Look Up MoCode and Authorized Signer

How to Look Up MoCode and Authorized Signer Information for TDX Software Purchase Requests

To avoid delays in processing your software request, verify your department’s billing MoCode and designated fiscal approver (Authorized Signer) before submitting your ticket. Incorrect or incomplete information will halt the approval process, requiring additional research and resubmission, which restarts the workflow and causes significant delays. The software sales team cannot dispatch software until fiscal approval is complete in the ticket system, so ensuring accuracy the first time is the most efficient way to keep your request moving forward.

Steps to Use the MoCode Lookup Tool in TDX

  1. Access the Lookup Tool
    • In your TDX service request form, find the section labeled MoCode Information.
    • Click the link: “Click Here” to look up MoCode, Authorized Signer information.

  1. Validate and Select Authorized Signer
    • After the MoCode is validated, open the Authorized Signer dropdown to view the list of verified approvers associated with that MoCode.
    • Important: If the person you wish to select does not appear in the dropdown, they are not an authorized approver in the TDX system, and the ticket will not proceed until a valid signer is chosen.
    • When in doubt, check with your department to clarify the information or request that the system be updated if needed.

Tips for Success

  • Always confirm MoCode and Authorized Signer with your department before submitting.
  • Only use signers listed in the TDX system for your MoCode.
  • If you encounter errors, verify that you selected a confirmed signer.
  • List yourself as an authorized signer only if you appear in the TDX system as an approved signer.
    • Even if you are listed, you must still follow the required approval steps to advance the ticket.

Troubleshooting Tips

Issue 1: MoCode does not validate

  • Ensure there are no typos or extra spaces.
  • If the MoCode is still invalid, contact your department’s fiscal officer for confirmation.

Issue 2: Not seeing the Authorized Signer I was looking for in the dropdown

  • Confirm that the MoCode is correct and validated.
  • Reach out to your department to verify who is authorized in TDX.
  • Only signers registered in TDX can approve requests—your department may need to update their records.

Issue 3: Error messages after selecting a signer

  • Select a signer from the dropdown list—do not type the name manually.
  • Verify any copied or pasted information for accuracy.
  • If errors continue, clear your browser cache or switch to a different browser.
  • Contact IT support if the problem persists.
