How do I invite a user to upload to a guest collection in Globus?
Answer
1. In the Collections window, click Administered By You. Your Guest Collection(s) is listed. Click on the Guest Collection you wish to share or invite someone to download.
2. Click on Permissions tab.
3. Click on Add Permissions - Share With to add users to access the Guest Collection.
4. The Add Permissions - Share With window for the Guest Collection is displayed:
a. Select user to share with a specific individual.
b. Enter their Username or Email. A drop-down search box will show Globus users.
c. Click on their name entry in the list.
5. The Add Permissions - Share With window continues to be displayed:
a. Verify their email address is in the To field.
b. Enter a message for their notification in the Message field.
c. Make sure both read and write permissions are checked.
d. Click Add Permission.
6. The Permissions Added pop-up window is displayed. Click on Done.
7. The Guest Collection window is displayed with Permissions tab selected with the new user listed.
