Overview
Regular maintenance is scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of every month. During this period of time the cluster will be unavailable.
We typically have the cluster maintenance windows completed within a work day - however they can sometimes extend longer depending on what work needs to be completed and any other complexities that arise over the course of the maintenance.
Jobs will run if scheduled to complete before the window begins, and jobs will start again once maintenance has been completed.
Job Submission Errors Due to Maintenance
If you submit a job that will over-lap with the maintenance window - your job will be held in the queue.
You can use: squeue --user=<your_id> and look at the NODELIST(REASON) column to see why your jobs are not starting.
