How to Format a Word document using keyboard commands

Question

How do I format a Word document using keyboard commands?

Answer

Note: When a keyboard command requires that multiple keys be pressed simultaneously, each key is separated by the + (Plus) sign.

Some functions are only available using the ribbon located at the top of the screen.  In these cases the keys are separated by a , (comma). Press each key separately.
