Overview
How to Fix Blank Space Missing Between Pages in Word
Detailed Information
From this page on the Microsoft Forums.
In Print Layout view, Word can hide the white space (top and bottom margins) between pages, which removes the gap and makes the document appear continuous. Use either method below to show it again.
Quick method:
1. Start Word.
2. On the View tab, click Print Layout if it is not already selected.
3. Move the pointer to the boundary between two pages until it changes to a double-arrow cursor.

4. Double-click to show the white space between pages.
Persistent setting:
1. Click File, and then click Options.
2. Click Display.
3. Under Page display options, select the Show white space between pages in Print Layout view check box.
4. Click OK.

The view is now changed so that you can see the margins around the top and bottom of the page.
