What is CiLogon and how is it useful to me
CiLogon is an identity management platform that allows users external to the UM System to access UM resources by providing a user directory service for Hellbender. Additionally, it provides OIDC authentication for our web portals, such as Open OnDemand. See CiLogon’s documentation for more information. https://www.cilogon.org/faq
UM System users are imported automatically. External users must be registered in our CILogon Registry before they are able to access Hellbender.
