Accessing your ePortfolio for students

Your ePortfolio can be accessed directly from within Canvas. To access and edit your ePortfolio:

  1. Log into Canvas
  2. Select the Account icon from the global navigation on the left side of the Canvas screen, and from the flyout menu select Folio (see Fig. 1).

  3. From the page that opens, select your name to be taken directly to your ePortfolio (see Fig. 2).

  4. The first time that you access your ePortfolio, you will be prompted to set up a password, and provide some additional information. This is so that you can have continued access to your Portfolium account, even after you have left the university (see Fig. 3). Note: Do not change your email address, as this is what links your Canvas account to your ePortfolio.

Note: Canvas Student ePortfolios can not be accessed through the Canvas Student app at this time. It must be accessed through a web browser.

Portfolium is an academic portfolio network Canvas tool that allows students to showcase their education and work accomplishments and connect with other professionals. You can upload images, Videos (YouTube, Vimeo), PDFs, text documents, and more to your portfolio. Students create their Portfolium account through Canvas and then have access indefinitely through portfolium.com even after they've left school.
