Accessing Lucid in Canvas

Accessing Lucid in Canvas if you do not already have an account

1. Log in to Canvas
2. Select Account in your global navigation menu (see Fig. 1).

3. Select Lucid (Whiteboard).
4. Select Sign up.
5. Select Register.
6. You will see a note that says you've been upgraded to the full Lucid Education Suite, free for Canvas students and instructors.
7. Select Continue.
8. Select Open Lucid. 

Accessing Lucid in Canvas if you already have an account with your UM System Canvas email address

1. Log in to Canvas
2. Select Account in your global navigation menu (see Fig. 1).
3. Select Lucid (Whiteboard).
4. Select Log in.
5. A new tab will open in Lucid, and your email address will be entered for you.
6. Select Next.
7. Enter your password.
8. Select Log in.
9. The Lucid tab will close and take you back to the Canvas tab.
10. Select Connect to Lucid.
11. You will see a note that says you've been upgraded to the full Lucid Education Suite, free for Canvas students and instructors.
12. Select Continue.
