Overview

To support leader's success, all newly hired and newly promoted leaders are automatically enrolled in the New Leader Onboarding curriculum. This learning experience is designed to help leaders build a strong foundation by introducing key organizational resources, leadership expectations, and essential tools needed to be successful.

Who Is Assigned the Curriculum?

The New Leader Onboarding curriculum is assigned to:

  • Leaders who are newly hired into the organization.
  • Current employees who are promoted into a leadership role.

Assignment is automatic and does not require a request from the leader or department.

What to Expect

Once the curriculum has been assigned, leaders will receive:

  • An automatic assignment to the New Leader Onboarding curriculum in the learning management system.
  • A welcome email from the Learning & Organizational Development team introducing the curriculum, outlining expectations, and providing guidance on how to get started.

The curriculum consists of learning essential leadership topics, organizational processes, and resources to help leaders transition successfully into their new role.

Timeline

Leaders should begin the curriculum as soon as possible after receiving their assignment and complete the required learning within one year from when it was assigned.
