Job Description Search

• Using Filters
  • Use the Campus filter: Set to HOSPT
  • Use the Job Code - Title filter: Specify a job code or title
    • You can select multiple job codes to compare
      • Use CTRL while clicking on the job codes in the filter to allow you to pull up several rows in the view.
      • This allows you to see the Pay Ranges details for the selected records.
      • You can then, still view the individual descriptions by clicking on the Web URL icon.
  • Use the icon in the Web URL column to view the specific job description.

Print the Job Description

• Press CTRL + P, or click the 3 ellipses in the upper right corner of the web browser and select Print
• Change the Margins to minimum
• Print

Helpful hints

• Use a direct URL to open a job description:
  • Job description URL -- https://www.umsystem.edu/hr/job-descriptions/0014h (change the ending string with the jobcode+h to the job code number that you need to view)
  • Example:  If you wanted to view 0005, you would use the https://www.umsystem.edu/hr/job-descriptions/0005h and this would open the direct view of the 0005 job description
