Summary

Employees in departments utilizing UKG Advanced Scheduling are able to self schedule shifts to meet their FTE within UKG.

Review shifts selected under My Schedule

  • From your home page, go to the My Schedule screen to see shifts selected during self-scheduling.
  • They will appear under the day and date on your My Schedule page along with notifying you which ones were picked up by you.
  • Until the [Signed up] rolls over to Closed, you can still edit these requests. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Making edits to My Self-Schedule Request

  • To make edits, select Edit My Schedule under the Manage My Schedule tile.
    • Note: You cannot make changes after self-scheduling closes. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

If an Employee has pre-scheduled shifts or a "shift pattern" already built in UKG, they will not be able to adjust these without leader approval.

Employees should only pick up shifts during self-scheduling to meet their FTE for the week. Extra shifts should NOT be scheduled at this time.

Important Note: Shifts selected during the self-scheduling period are not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on departmental needs. If a shift is self-scheduled, CT&S will make every effort not to change the employee's request.
