Summary
The RN Scholarship Program is an opportunity for full-time benefit-eligible employees to receive tuition support in their journey to become a registered nurse. Employees must be accepted at a partner institution (Moberly Area Community College (MACC), Lincoln University, State Tech or Columbia College) before applying. Interviews with HR and nursing leadership will occur before decisions are announced. Upon graduation employees are required to work in a designated high-need area for two years.

The RN Scholarship Program is an opportunity for employees to receive financial support in their career development to become a registered nurse. The scholarship covers tuition, books and additional fees for those employees who have been accepted into a nursing program at one of the following partner institutions: Lincoln University, Moberly Area Community College (MACC), State Tech or Columbia College.
Full-time benefit-eligible employees will maintain their current rate of pay and benefits while pursuing their nursing degree. The RN Scholarship Program provides 14 hours of paid development time each week while school is in session, replacing normal work hours to support academic success. Upon completion of their nursing degree employees are required to work for 2 years in a designated high-need area. If the employee is currently in a designated high-need area they may stay in their current unit.
Eligibility criteria:
- Must be at least 0.75 FTE at MU Health Care for at least one year
- Be in good standing in your current role
- Accepted into a nursing program at one of our designated partner schools: Moberly Area Community College (MACC), State Tech, Lincoln University or Columbia College
