Setting Up Voicemail in Microsoft Teams

Prerequisites

You can access Microsoft Teams in various ways. Below are instructions for using the desktop app and the web version.

• Desktop App: Accessible when the app is open on your Windows or macOS computer.
• Web Version: Ensure your browser allows notifications for Teams to receive calls and messages.

Setting Up Voicemail in Teams

1. Open Microsoft Teams (Desktop App or Web Version) and log in with your university account.
2. Click the three dots (...) near your profile picture in the top-right corner.
3. Select Settings -> Calls
   
4. Scroll down to Manage Voicemail, where you can:
   1. Record a greeting
   2. Adjust voicemail settings, such as call forwarding options.

Listening to Voicemails

1. Open Microsoft Teams (Desktop App or Web Version)
2. Click the Calls icon () in the left-side menu.
3. One the right side, you will see your Call History, including any voicemail messages.
4. Voicemail messages are also delivered to your Exchange mailbox as an audio file with a text transcript of the message.
