If the generally available resources are insufficient for your work, the Mill has several opportunities to pay for additional resources.

Storage

Two tiers of storage are available for purchase. Standard performance storage on parallel HDDs is available for $100/TB/Year.

For improved performance for heavy read/write jobs, all-flash storage is available for $160/TB/Year.

Leased Nodes

Up to 50% of the total capacity of the Mill can be leased to individual research groups for priority access. Leased nodes remain in the requeue partition for general use but jobs submitted by the lessee will receive priority access to start immediately. Funded Nodes

Faculty may fund the purchase of nodes that will be installed in our data center and hosted by RSS for a fee. Please reach out via ticket for more information on requirements and pricing
