How do I setup voicemail on Cisco VoIP phone?
Answer
Create a Voicemail PIN
	- Go to https://tccucpub.missouri.edu/ciscopca/home.do.
 
	- If the HTTP error 403 appears (when using Firefox) follow these two steps:
 
	- Put the cursor in the address bar as though typing (or press Alt+D in Firefox for Windows or click on the address).
 
	- Press Enter on the keyboard to reload the page. (Pressing F5 or clicking reload do not work).
 
Note: You must establish a VPN connection if you are not on campus.
	- Log in to Cisco Personal Communications Assistant.
	
		- For Username type the university username.
 
		- For Password type the password.
 
		- Click Login.
		Note: If this voicemail is attached to a resource account, the resource account and password is needed to set the voicemail PIN. If you do not know if it is a resource account, contact the IT Help Desk at 573-882-5000. Note that the account sponsor will need to setup mailbox permissions for access to the voicemails via email by other users. 
	
	 
	- Click Messaging Assistant.
 
	- At the top of the window click Passwords / Change PIN.
 
	- For New PIN type the new PIN.
 
	- For Confirm New PIN type the new PIN.
 
	- Click Save.
 
	- Click Log Out at the top-right of the page.
 
PIN requirements
	- Must be at least eight digits long
 
	- Cannot:
	
		- Match the numeric representation of the first or last name of the user.
 
		- Contain the primary extension or alternate extensions of the user.
 
		- Contain the reverse of the primary extension or alternate extensions of the user.
 
		- Contain groups of repeated digits, such as "408408" or "123123".
 
		- Contain only two different digits, such as "121212".
 
		- Be used more than two times consecutively (for example, "28883").
 
		- Be an ascending or descending group of digits (for example, "012345" or "987654").
 
	
	 
Set Up Voicemail
	- If calling from your Cisco IP Phone, press the Voicemail button and skip to step 5.
 
	- If calling from a different phone, dial 573-884-3111.
 
	- When the system answers, press the star (*) key.
 
	- Enter your 10-digit university phone number, followed by the pound (#) key.
 
	- Enter the PIN you established above, followed by the pound (#) key.
 
	- Respond to the instructions as prompted.
 
Note: The system will tell you when the set up process is complete. If you hang up before you have completed the set up process, the first-time enrollment will play again the next time you sign in.
